Conference details

The next Coastal Schools’ Network Conference will take place in West Cumbria on Thursday 15 October and Friday 16 October 2026. Delegates will have the opportunity to visit schools in the Whitehaven and Workington area, share good practice and network with each other. Accommodation is available at Hunday Manor Hotel including a 3-course evening meal and an evening session facilitated by Head of School Improvement, Paul Duckworth. Any senior leaders whose schools are located in or near coastal areas are very welcome to attend.

There are three options for attendance, including:

 Day delegate – £40

• Visits to schools in the Whitehaven and Workington area
• Lunch on both days
• Networking with colleagues

Day and evening delegate – £85

• All of the above plus a 3-course evening meal at Hunday Manor Hotel
• An evening session facilitated by Paul Duckworth

Full residential delegate – £210

• All of the above plus bed and breakfast accommodation at Hunday Manor Hotel
