DBE Services works closely with the Diocesan Boards of Education in Birmingham, Blackburn, Carlisle, Chester, Durham, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle and York to support the effective use of School Capital Allocation Funding (SCA) funding to its Voluntary Aided (VA) Church of England Schools.  Together these dioceses have around 400 Voluntary Aided Schools and generates approximately £16.2M of SCA funding each year.

Schools’ Building Conference 2026

Thanks you to everyone who attended our first DBE Services Schools’ Building Officer Conference which took place in Liverpool Cathedral on Thursday 30th April 2026. 

We were thrilled that we have over 55 delegates, representing more than 20 dioceses, several MATs and half a dozen building consultancies.  Thank you all the speakers and facilitators who made it such a great opportunity for learning, networking and support.
