  • Reflect on the purpose and progression of continuous provision and enhanced provision and how each area can promote rich learning opportunities.
  • Consider how to plan, resource and organise provision to maximise children’s engagement, independence and progress.
  • Explore the crucial role of the adult in extending learning within continuous provision through purposeful interactions.
  • Consider how learning environments should evolve throughout the academic year in response to children’s interests, development and curriculum expectations.
  • Visit a high-quality EYFS learning environment in action and reflect on effective practice.
