Each term, Strive SEND Specialist Teacher Amira Helme will lead The SENCO Essentials Forum during a live online meeting via Zoom. The sessions provide SENCOs with essential CPD and the latest updates. Each meeting will focus on a different aspect of the SENCO role; aiming to inform, update and inspire primary SENCOs. All sessions will follow a ‘train the trainer’ approach to upskill  SENCOs who in turn can upskill their school teams. The meetings are suitable for both experienced and new to post SENCOs.
